Techstars Hires Andrew Cleland as CIO: Innovating Investment Strategies

Techstars, the most active pre-seed investor in the world, has announced the appointment of Andrew Cleland as Chief Investment Officer. Cleland will replace Jason Seats, who will transition to the role of Senior Fund Advisor. In his new position, Cleland will oversee Techstars’ Investment and Capital Formation teams and will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for the accelerator investment selection process globally, directing the company’s fundraising strategy, and developing investment products.
