Yume, a Melbourne-based startup that focuses on redistributing surplus food, has secured AUD 2 million in seed funding. The funding round was led by Investible’s Climate Tech Fund and saw participation from other investors, including LaunchVic and angel investor Pitzy Folk. Yume plans to double its headcount and expand internationally with the newly raised capital. Zora Health, a startup offering fertility-related programs and services, also secured SGD 1 million in funding to launch its integrated fertility care platform in Singapore.

BlokID, a Vietnam-based developer of blockchain-based privacy solutions for the digital advertising industry, raised USD 1.25 million in a seed funding round led by Ascend Vietnam Ventures and AppWorks. Antler, a Singapore-based venture capital firm, announced pre-seed funding for 37 startups in Southeast Asia. This is the highest number of pre-seed deals completed in the region in a single round.

Rebellions, a South Korean artificial intelligence chipmaker, completed its Series B funding round, raising USD 124 million. The funding will be used to develop Rebel, the company’s next-generation AI chips designed for large language models.

In China, Muxin Technology secured funding for its medical chip development, while Acroview Technology closed its Series B funding round for chip testing and equipment development. Yunban AIGC also raised an undisclosed amount of Series A funding for its AI solutions, and Weizhi Aviation Technology secured investment for the development of unmanned transportation aircraft.

In India, Electrifi Mobility received USD 3 million in seed funding for its fleet electrification solutions, and Optimizers, an eyewear retail chain, raised an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round. Bajaj Finserv Health, a subsidiary of NBFC Bajaj Finserv, agreed to acquire insurance claims processor Vidal Healthcare Services and its subsidiaries.

Other funding rounds included Mesh Bio’s Series A round, ProcurePro’s funding for construction software, and Alt.Leather’s seed funding for its plant-based leather startup.
