The June quarter saw 22 mega deals of over $100 million, with IT & ITES industry attracting the most investments totaling $3.5 billion. The healthcare and life sciences industry also saw significant investments, with the second biggest deal of the quarter being KKR’s $840 million acquisition of a medical devices maker. Overall, the private equity and venture capital investment landscape in India remains dynamic and robust despite fluctuations in funding levels.
