Eatable Adventures, an accelerator based in Madrid, has announced the first closing of its €30 million investment fund, Europe Foodtech Acceleration Fund I SCSp. The fund will focus on investing in agri-food tech startups across Europe, with particular emphasis on Spain and Italy. Eatable Adventures has also revealed that it has already made €6 million worth of investments in nine Foodtech projects. These projects were taken on as part of the national acceleration programs Spain Foodtech and FoodSeed, and they focus on developing innovative technological solutions to address challenges in the food sector. Eatable Adventures plans to launch a third European acceleration program in the coming months in order to broaden the technology’s influence.
