GitLab Exec McBride Joins GV As new General Partner.

GV, also known as Google Ventures, has appointed Brandon McBride, a former executive at GitLab, as a general partner. Based in San Francisco, McBride will focus on investments in early-stage enterprise technology firms. He brings seven years of experience working with founders to develop their businesses, having previously served as director of business strategy and operations at GitLab and financial planning and strategic initiatives lead at LinkedIn. GV’s investment portfolio spans life science, healthcare, AI, robotics, transportation, cybersecurity, and agriculture, and the firm has backed more than 600 companies including Uber, Slack, and Fitbit.
