Powering Up: Camus Energy Secures $25 Million for Grid Orchestration

Electric grid orchestration startup, Camus Energy, has raised $25 million in Series A funding to support the growth of its solutions. The California-based company provides software that enables utilities to manage grid constraints and make informed infrastructure investments to meet growing electricity demand and accelerate the adoption of renewable energy. The software platform collects data from power utilities, transmission companies, distributed energy producers, and consumers to provide real-time visibility and control over local energy resources. The funding will be used to expand Camus’s customer base, invest in research and development, and grow its partner ecosystem. Camus has already increased its annual recurring revenue by 500% since mid-2021 and expanded its customer base to utilities serving 2.9 million end consumers across nine states.
