Global automaker and mobility provider, Stellantis, has celebrated 11 innovative tech startups with its annual Venture Awards. These awards underscore Stellantis’ commitment to delivering customer-centric technology and features, supporting its Dare Forward 2030 goal to provide clean, affordable, and safe worldwide mobility. The honorees were selected based on several criteria, including the impact of the technology on customer experience, the novelty of the tech, and its potential scalability within Stellantis.

- Stellantis strives for innovation by rapidly applying innovative solutions from start-ups, resulting in over 110 partnership contracts in the last two years.
- The company also invests in budding companies through its Stellantis Ventures capital fund, initially endowed with €300 million, targeting early and later-stage startups with potentially transformative auto and mobility sector technologies.
Among the recognized startups include CARE Recicli, a Brazilian company specializing in developing sustainable technologies for various industries. Collaborating with Stellantis, Recicli has developed an innovative bio-metallurgy process for recovering rare materials from electric batteries using microorganisms. Another honoree, US-based Trails Offroad, provides guides for jeep® vehicle owners to enjoy off-roading, available in the Uconnect system.
France’s Tiamat, an honoree in the TECH category, developed an advanced sodium-ion battery cell chemistry as a lower-cost and more sustainable alternative to lithium-ion batteries, free from lithium and cobalt. Furthermore, Electra Vehicles from Italy and the United States received an award for their AI-based software solutions that extend battery life, range, and safety, enhancing overall vehicle performance.
In the VALUE category, Frances’ Shippeo and Freight Verify from the United States were recognized for enabling real-time tracking of vehicle transportation for customers and dealers.
