Unleashing AI Potential: SK Networks and Bow Capital’s Collaboration

TLDR:

  • SK Networks has partnered with US-based venture capital firm Bow Capital to collaborate on investments in futuristic technologies, primarily focusing on artificial intelligence (AI).
  • The non-binding agreement was forged during the visit of Bow Capital’s founder, Vivek Ranadive, to Seoul.

SK Networks, an ICT distribution unit of SK Group, aims to transform itself into an AI-focused investment firm under its “SK Network Renaissance Project.”

Under the partnership, when SK Networks forms a consortium for investments, Bow Capital and other US investors will join and secure treasury stocks issued by SK Networks. The collaboration aims to contribute to the reinvention of SK Networks as a global technology company. SK Networks will leverage this partnership to engage more actively with investors and divest shares to influential partners to cultivate strong collaborations and invest in leading-edge technologies, with a specific focus on AI.
