Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and World Business Chicago have announced the return of the Chicago Venture Summit Future-of-Food. The event, which will take place on May 23, will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders to discuss the technology-driven transformations shaping the future of the food industry. Chicago, the #1 U.S. food production and innovation hub, boasts a thriving ecosystem of food giants, startups, ingredient pioneers, and top talent.
The Chicago Venture Summit Future-of-Food 2024 will mark the 10th anniversary of the summit, which serves as a connecting point for local founders and investors. In 2023, the summit hosted two unique sector events, each drawing more than 2000 attendees and featuring a startup portfolio that included over 160 founders, 60% of whom were underrepresented founders.
Chicago Venture Summit will be held at 167 Green Street in the city’s Fulton Market District, a 640,000 square-foot office building that has become a hub for innovation in the area. The summit aims to highlight Chicago’s commitment to food innovation, entrepreneurship, and equitable access to venture capital opportunities.
Registration for the invite-only conference will open in the coming weeks.
