Samplico secures $18M to fuel worldwide growth efforts

TLDR:

  • Samplico secures $1.8 million in funding led by Eksim Ventures, APY Ventures, Arya VC, and Maxis Innovative Venture Capital Investment Fund
  • The funding will be used to expand Samplico’s reach and support the new SaaS market research platform, Sorbunu, in the UK market

Consumer experience and insight platform Samplico, also known as Denebunu in Turkey, has successfully secured $1.8 million in a bridge to Series A funding round. The investment, led by Eksim Ventures with participation from APY Ventures, Arya VC, and Maxis Innovative Venture Capital Investment Fund, will be utilized to help brands leverage the power of user-generated content (UGC) and gain valuable consumer insights. Samplico’s newly launched SaaS market research platform, Sorbunu, will also benefit from the funding as it expands its presence in the UK market.

Founded in 2016 by Duygu Özgün and Barış Yeşilçiçek, Samplico has made significant strides in reaching nearly 4 million consumers and forming partnerships with over 1,000 brands, enabling access to hard-to-reach target audiences through advanced segmentation techniques. The company aims to become the go-to platform for UGC, connecting companies of all sizes with their target audiences effectively.

With this investment, Samplico plans to expand both its core platform and Sorbunu in the Turkish and UK markets. The funding will support the company’s global expansion efforts and accelerate the international launch of Sorbunu, a hyper-fast market research platform introduced in Turkey in March 2023.

Investors such as Eksim Ventures, APY Ventures, Arya VC, and Maxis Innovative Venture Capital Investment Fund have expressed their confidence in Samplico’s expertise and sustainable business model. They believe that the company’s innovative solutions and ability to adapt to market changes will lead to continued success in the global market.
