Rösnick’s Rise: Climbing the Ranks at Wepa Ventures

The German sanitary paper manufacturer, Wepa Group, has announced the promotion of Till Rösnick to the position of managing director at its corporate venture capital arm, Wepa Ventures. Rösnick originally joined the company in 2016 as a treasury manager before moving to Wepa Ventures in 2020 as an investment manager. Wepa Ventures, established in 2020, is dedicated to supporting and nurturing European software-driven material science startups with a focus on green technologies. The unit has already made more than 20 investments, including in companies such as Wase, Sunhat, and Cirplus.

Rösnick’s new role as managing director will see him leading the team at Wepa Ventures, alongside managing directors Andreas Krengel and Carl-Luis Rieger, and IT and digital group director Tobias Hundhausen. This move reflects the company’s commitment to fostering innovation and supporting startups in the material science sector in Europe.
