Riviera Partners: Growing VC-Backed Services Across the Board

TLDR:

  • Riviera Partners has expanded its venture capital-backed practice with the addition of Sam Wilkins as a partner.
  • This new venture-backed practice aims to offer service and continuity across various company growth stages.

San Francisco-based Riviera Partners has announced the expansion of its venture capital-backed practice with the addition of Sam Wilkins as its newest partner. Wilkins, who brings a wealth of experience from his work at Erevena, will be joining the firm’s practice led by managing partner Eoin O’Toole. The newly formed venture practice at Riviera combines the firm’s former emerging and growth practices to better serve clients across different company growth stages. By uniting these practices under a single, venture-backed umbrella, Riviera aims to provide a seamless experience to clients ranging from startups to rapid growth companies. The firm has a strong track record of working with prominent firms and has successfully placed talent at companies such as Uber, Dropbox, Airbnb, and more.

Riviera Partners, a global recruiting firm specializing in the technology industry, has also received investment from Insight Partners. This investment will allow Riviera to scale into new markets and geographies while continuing to operate independently. Through machine learning algorithms, Riviera identifies highly qualified candidates for executive roles at tech companies, providing clients with a short list of candidates in a short period of time. The firm has recently hired Simon Gray as a partner in its EU region, based in London. Gray’s expertise in executive search and experience with pre-IPO ventures and publicly-listed technology providers will contribute to Riviera’s growth in the EU region.
