FLEXeCHARGE, a Danish energy tech company, has raised a seven-figure investment in a seed funding round led by Greencode Ventures, Link Capital, and Vireo Ventures. The company will use the funds to develop its smart load and energy management e-mobility platform. The platform aims to address the limitations in the capacity of energy grids, which is currently a major roadblock in the rollout of commercial charging infrastructure for electric vehicles (EVs). FLEXeCHARGE’s platform allows charge point operators and charging solution providers to integrate their charging sites with local renewable energy sources and storage systems, reducing costs and ensuring efficient use of the increasing volume of renewable energy in the grid. The company was founded in 2019 and offers an open platform that can be integrated with EV charging hardware and charge point management systems. The funding will help FLEXeCHARGE commercialize its technology and expand its footprint in the European market.
