Pieces Secures $135M in Series A Funding

– Pieces, a developer productivity tech startup based in Cincinnati, raised $13.5m in Series A funding.

– The round was led by Drive Capital with participation from other investors.

Pieces, founded in 2021 by Tsavo Knott and Mack Myers, offers a product that allows developers to save and store code, links, text, images, and more through copying and pasting. The startup is now introducing Live Context in Pieces Copilot+, a feature that provides real-time, on-device contextual assistance for developers. Their goal is to increase daily active users and retention rate by the end of 2024.

The company plans to use the funds to roll out the next phases of its product. It currently has around 20 full-time employees and remote collaborators.
