Overmoon, a San Francisco-based provider of a tech-enabled vacation rental platform, has raised $80M in equity and debt funding. The round saw participation from NFX, Khosla Ventures, Camber Creek, 1Sharpe, Sunsar Capital, and others. Led by Founder and CEO Joe Fraiman, Overmoon plans to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach. The company offers a platform that combines the comfort, amenities, and service of hotels with shared space for families and friends to gather in vacation homes. Overmoon has also partnered with Flock, an Andreessen Horowitz-backed company, to launch Overmoon Exchange, a program that offers vacation home owners tax, time, and investment benefits by contributing their homes to Overmoon’s 721 Fund.
