The move is strategically designed to capitalize on India’s consumption-driven growth, diversification of the Indian economy, and rising per-capita incomes. With a focus on the consumption sector, the fund aims to leverage India’s economic growth and tap into new investment avenues presented by evolving consumption patterns and a burgeoning middle class. The Gurugram-based firm invests exclusively in private market funds, aiming to capture value across different stages of a company’s lifecycle and reinforce success by providing follow-on capital to portfolio winners.
