Nico Rosberg, the F1 World Champion, has recently launched a $75M fund through Rosberg Ventures. The fund, which aims to support a diverse range of founders, has already accrued a portfolio of 35 startups and scaleups. Through a ‘fund of funds’ model, the capital from LPs and other VCs will be allocated towards global Tier 1 funds who will then invest in startups within their specialism, allowing for a more dynamic investment approach.

Aside from his VC activities, Nico Rosberg also runs Rosberg X Racing in the Extreme E racing series and participates in rounds as an angel investor. His investment portfolio includes companies like fintech Hyperline and insurtech Insify. With the fund already closed at $30M, Rosberg aims to provide stable investment opportunities in the high-risk venture capital asset class.
