EMV Capital, a wholly owned venture capital and corporate finance firm of NetScientific, will manage a portfolio of £23.3 million comprising 53 investments. This deal significantly increases fee income and critical mass for NetScientific, while also providing opportunities for the potential launch of two further funds under the Martlet brand. The transaction also includes preferential investment terms for future funds and opportunities for co-investment in portfolio companies. Overall, this acquisition marks a major deal for NetScientific, as it expands its funds under management significantly and gains exposure to the high-tech cluster in Cambridge known for generating high-value technology businesses in the deep tech and life sciences space.
