Julius Luehr has been appointed as a Partner at Munich-based venture capital firm Acton Capital. Luehr has steadily built his career in VC over the past decade, with previous experience at Rocket Internet, Axel Springer, Cavalry Ventures, and Northzone. He joined Acton Capital in early 2018 as an Analyst and has quickly risen through the ranks to become a Partner.

Luehr has been involved in several successful investments at Acton Capital. He played a key role in the firm’s investment and follow-on round in cybersecurity platform SoSafe and logistics-as-a-service startup everstox’s Series A round. Additionally, Luehr was involved in investments in Laserhub’s Series A round and Metalshub’s Series A round. He also co-led Acton Capital’s first investment in Estonia, the recently acquired Klaus’ Series A round.

Acton Capital founding partner Christoph Braun praised Luehr’s talents as an investor, stating that he has a keen eye for opportunities and long-term potential.
