Taqtile, a maker of spatially-enabled work-instruction platform Manifest, has received an investment from Scout Ventures. The amount of the deal has not been disclosed. Taqtile plans to use the financing to support strategic initiatives such as expanding marketing programs, increasing support and sales staff, and bolstering engineering and development efforts. The company’s Manifest platform uses augmented reality, spatial computing, 3D visualization, and real-time communication to help deskless workers complete complex tasks more efficiently and accurately. Taqtile has recently expanded its relationships with branches of the US military, added new clients including Fastenal and British Airways, and formed partnerships with Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte, Accenture, DigiLens, and Magic Leap. The company also introduced Manifest Maker, a free application for digitizing undocumented knowledge.
