Australia-based wellness start-up Sonder has raised $16m in a Series B extension round, led by SEEK Growth Fund. The investment brings Sonder’s pre-money valuation to $235m. Sonder, which offers an employee-focused mental and physical health and safety services platform, plans to use the funds to support growth in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. The company has signed on several major corporate clients including Woolworths, McDonald’s, and Allianz. Sonder previously raised $35m in share capital in 2022 and aims to achieve profitability within the next year.
