EquityMultiple’s services include providing JV equity, senior debt, mezzanine and subordinate debt, and preferred equity, all while boasting streamlined investor management and ongoing support from its experienced asset management team.

Speaking on the partnership, EquityMultiple CEO and Co-Founder, Charles Clinton, stated that the partnership represents an exciting step for the firm, enabling it to offer individual investors access to high-quality commercial real estate that has historically been earmarked for institutional portfolios. Clinton also pointed to the uncorrelated return potential, tax advantages, and potential for cash flow and appreciation across market cycles as further benefits.

Marcus & Millichap’s chief operating officer, J.D. Parker, highlighted the tradition of providing the commercial real estate industry with groundbreaking technologies.

Marious Sjulsen, EquityMultiple’s Chief Investment Officer and Co-Founder, emphasized the reach and diversification that the partnership will offer to accredited investors.

Both firms bring a strong reputation and track record, with EquityMultiple boasting over $5 billion in commercial real estate transactions since 2015, and Marcus & Millichap closing 12,272 transactions in 2022 with a sales volume of approximately $86.3 billion.
