Christian Mariager, a new investor in the fund, highlighted the exceptional talent and drive of the team at BlackWood Ventures, praising their mission to disrupt the European venture capital space. The fund remains open for further investment and benefits from a robust deal flow, consistently evaluating about 300 startups monthly through various partnership channels, angel networks, and organic inquiries.

BlackWood Ventures focuses on sourcing the most promising startups through a proprietary selection process, maintaining an acceptance rate of 0.2%. With a team of experts with diverse backgrounds and industry experience, the fund aims to identify and support promising startups uniquely to foster innovation in Europe’s technology ecosystem.
