Upon his appointment, Lewis expressed the importance of the VCT scheme in the UK’s funding ecosystem and highlighted the recent extension of the scheme until at least 2035, which is crucial for the continued success of VCTs. The VCTA represents 12 of the largest VCT managers in the UK and holds over £5.5bn in funds under management.
