CE-Ventures Partners with Freya Biosciences for $38mln Funding Boost

CE-Ventures, the corporate venture capital platform of Crescent Enterprises, has invested in Freya Biosciences’ $38 million Series A funding round. The trans-Atlantic biotech company focuses on women’s health, particularly microbial immunotherapies. The funding will advance the clinical development of Freya’s lead drug candidate, which targets infertility in women with dysbiotic vaginal microbiota. Additionally, the funds will support the evolution of Freya’s multi-omics data science platform, which includes microbiome sequencing and immune biomarker profiling.
