The company is focused on transforming cancer diagnostics through data science and has developed AI-based bioinformatics algorithms for cancer classification. Their flagship product, the Heidelberg Brain Tumor Classifier, uses DNA methylation patterns and artificial intelligence to classify cancer subtypes accurately. The funding will be used to enhance development efforts for the brain tumor classification tool, which is currently available for research use only. With over 150,000 patient samples analyzed using their algorithms, Heidelberg Epignostix is paving the way for more precise cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy management.
