TLDR:

  • Tractor Ventures has a new all-women C-suite leadership team.
  • The move aims to open doors for women leaders in the tech funding industry.

Tractor Ventures, a technology startup funding provider, has announced a new all-women C-suite leadership team with Jodie Imam as CEO, Aprill Enright as COO, and Francine Hackett as CFO. This move marks a significant change in the traditionally male-dominated funding industry and is expected to open doors for more women entrepreneurs and leaders in the tech ecosystem.

Previously co-founder Jodie Imam shared the CEO role with Matt Allen before transitioning to the sole CEO position alongside Enright and Hackett. The Melbourne-headquartered company has seen substantial growth in its loan book, distributing over 250 loans totaling more than $70 million in capital disbursed.

The newly formed senior leadership team at Tractor Ventures includes Allen as head of capital and new markets, Garry Williams as director of engagement, and Matty Evans as director of engineering. The company aims for an even gender split of 50% in its portfolio of investments, highlighting its focus on funding more women in the industry.

Imam and Allen’s leadership transition model is inspired by the management classic ‘Rocket Fuel,’ emphasizing the importance of dynamic partnerships between company leaders.
