Boosting Black Businesses: Local VC Fund Pours in Strategic Investments

TLDR: An Indianapolis private equity firm, Cambridge Capital Management, has created a fund called Lynx Capital to provide financing for Black-owned businesses. The fund was established in 1991 and aims to support minority-owned businesses by providing capital, guidance, and tools. To qualify for funding, businesses must have at least five employees, have been operating for at least three years, and have a project size of at least $75,000. Cambridge Capital has provided over $890 million in financing and capital to more than 190 Indiana companies since its founding.
