This represents the highest level of corporate funding in the solar industry in a decade. Global venture capital reached $6.9 billion, down 1% from the previous year. The largest venture capital deal was a $471 million funding round for German solar installer 1KOMMA5°. In the United States, project developer Silicon Ranch raised $600 million in equity funding.
