The fund utilizes iSAFE notes for investing in startups and operates on a class-based investment model, investing in startups across various sectors before the class formally begins.

For its Class 11 cohort, 100X.VC meticulously selected 17 companies out of 307 shortlisted from a pool of over 1500 startups. These portfolio companies are based in cities such as Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, and Gurgaon among others. The announcement of the new portfolio companies took place at an in-person VC Pitch Day in Mumbai on June 1st, 2024.

Ninad Karpe, Founder & Partner at 100X.VC, expressed excitement about the new cohort, highlighting the diversity of sectors covered by the startups, including B2B SaaS, API, Healthtech, ClimateTech, Food & Beverage, and Pet Tech. The fund believes in the transformative potential of India’s early-stage startup ecosystem and sees promising opportunities in the startups selected for Class 11.

The 17 chosen startups include companies like Anyway.ai, Baylink, Deepvue.tech, EasyReplenish, FUTR Studios, GoCodeo, Hummsa Biotech, Kroto, Openleaf, Origgo, Orbit Wallet, Pet Chef, Pettle, The Naturik Co, Whitetable, Zircle, and Zafo Technologies. 100X.VC, founded in 2019, is the first VC to invest in early-stage startups using India SAFE Notes. The fund is sponsored by Mehta Ventures, the Family Office Investment arm of Sanjay Mehta.
