aPriori’s monad staking platform soars to $100 million valuation

TLDR:

– aPriori raised $8 million in seed funding, bringing their token valuation to at least $100 million.

– The platform is building a liquid staking system on the Monad blockchain.

Monad liquid staking platform aPriori has successfully raised $8 million in seed funding from investors such as Pantera Capital, Consensys, and OKX Ventures, among others. This funding round has brought aPriori’s token valuation to at least $100 million. The platform, founded by Ray S and Olivia Z, is focused on building a liquid staking system on the Monad blockchain. They aim to create an efficient maximal extractable value (MEV) marketplace that will enhance validator incentives and reduce spamming on the network.

The aPriori team began raising funds for the seed round in March and closed it in April. This investment round follows a previous $2 million pre-seed funding round for the project. The platform has plans to launch the testnet of its system on the first day of the Monad testnet, with the mainnet launch to follow. Once live, users will be able to stake their Monad tokens with aPriori, earn rewards, and receive a liquid stake pool token that can be utilized in other DeFi applications.

aPriori currently employs 14 people globally and is looking to expand its engineering team. The platform has strong relationships within the Monad ecosystem and plans to leverage these connections as they move towards the mainnet launch. While there is no specific timeline for aPriori’s own token launch, the team is focused on building a robust and efficient staking platform on the Monad blockchain.
