TLDR:

Key Points:

  • Layer3 raises $15 million in Series A funding co-led by ParaFi and Greenfield Capital
  • The funding comes ahead of the launch of Layer3’s token and airdrop

Layer3, a token distribution protocol, has secured $15 million in a Series A funding round co-led by ParaFi and Greenfield Capital. The funding round was closed in May and includes participation from Electric Capital, Immutable, Lattice, Tioga, LeadBlock, Amber, and others. With this round, Layer3’s total funding now stands at $21.2 million, following a previous round of $2.5 million in 2021.

Layer3 aims to distribute tokens to attract and retain users, with over 100 crypto projects already using its platform. The project also announced a strategic funding round of $3.7 million raised in 2022. Moving forward, Layer3 plans to expand its team, optimize token distribution strategies with an AI-enabled protocol, and launch its native L3 token with an airdrop of 15 million tokens.

This funding and upcoming token launch will allow Layer3 to grow its team, expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific region, and enhance its platform for more personalized user experiences.
