Malaysia Unicorns: New Golden Pass Boosts Startup Success

Agmo Holdings Bhd CEO, Tan Aik Keong, mentioned that the initiative addresses key challenges faced by startups such as funding, working visas, office space, and tax rates.

Financial advisory firm VAD Capital Group’s managing director, Vivek Sasheendran, highlighted the potential media attention and publicity that Malaysia will receive with the introduction of the Unicorn Golden Pass.

Assistant professor Guanie Lim emphasized the benefits of the initiative in attracting venture capital and talent to the country, despite some scepticism about surpassing Singapore in this aspect.
