The company plans to use the funds to support its international expansion, grow its presence in the US, and further invest in research and development to help deliver a global zero-carbon future. GridBeyond, led by Michael Phelan and Richard O’Loughlin, leverages AI to help customers optimize energy generation, demand, and storage to work towards a zero-carbon future.

In 2023, GridBeyond expanded its team across all deregulated markets in the US, acquired Veritone Business Energy, launched new products, and doubled its global team size. The company has seen significant revenue growth over the past few years, with an average increase of 70% per year and a forecast for similar growth in 2024.
