10 Mega Funding Rounds: Generate Capital’s Big Win, Koreai’s $150M

Lots of big funding rounds happened this week, with Generate Capital raising a whopping $1.5 billion and Kore.ai securing $150 million in funding. Generate Capital is a sustainability and infrastructure investment firm that invests in various infrastructure projects related to renewable energy. Kore.ai is an artificial intelligence (AI) enterprise conversational platform that offers AI-related tech solutions. Other notable funding rounds include Zum, which raised $140 million for its AI-powered transportation platform for school districts, and Inari, which raised $103 million for its AI-powered predictive design for developing higher-yielding seeds. Several biotech companies also secured significant funding rounds, including Cour Pharmaceuticals, Basking Biosciences, and Cohere Health.

Generate Capital raised a whopping $1.5 billion in funding for its renewable energy infrastructure projects. This is the third time the company has successfully raised over $1 billion in funding.

Kore.ai, an AI enterprise conversational platform, secured $150 million in funding, led by FTV Capital. The company offers various AI-related tech solutions, including virtual assistants and tools for building AI apps.

Zum, a transportation company focused on providing efficient school bus solutions, raised $140 million in funding. The company uses AI technology to optimize routes and provide real-time updates to parents.

Cour Pharmaceuticals, a biotech startup, raised $105 million in funding for its development of disease-modifying therapies for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

Inari, an agtech startup, raised $103 million in funding for its AI-powered predictive design to develop higher-yielding seeds that require less water.

Watershed, an enterprise sustainability platform, raised $100 million in funding for its climate solutions. The funding was led by Greenoaks.

Codeium, a generative AI-powered coding toolkit developer, raised $65 million in funding for its AI-powered coding solutions. The round was led by Kleiner Perkins.

Accompany Health, a healthcare provider for low-income patients, raised $56 million in funding for its primary, behavioral, and social care services.

Basking Biosciences, a biopharmaceutical company developing therapies for stroke, raised $55 million in funding. The round was led by ARCH Venture Partners.

Cohere Health, a SaaS healthcare platform, raised $50 million in funding for its healthcare solutions that improve patient care and reduce costs.

OYO, a global travel tech firm based in India, also raised $400 million in funding. The company offers various travel solutions and services.
