Vinod Khosla, the co-founder of Sun Microsystems and founder of Khosla Ventures, will headline the CIX 2024 investment summit in Toronto. This will be the first CIX event since Elevate, the nonprofit behind the Toronto tech festival, acquired the brand in September 2023. Elevate aims to strengthen its ability to connect the tech ecosystem year-round by hosting the investment summit. CIX 2024, which will take place on March 26 and 27 at the Design Exchange in Toronto, will feature curated networking opportunities and investor meetings, allowing investors to connect with over 200 startups. The event will also present awards to the top 20 early-stage and top 10 growth startups. In 2022, 92% of the award winners received funding within one year.
