Bronze Valley Venture Labs returns to Delaware, picks 5 new startups

Another set of promising Delaware startups are getting a boost from an Alabama nonprofit founded by one of Wilmington’s own. Birmingham-based venture capital firm Bronze Valley first brought its Venture Lab to Delaware last year as it moved to serve the Mid-Atlantic region, powered through a partnership with gener8tor. The first cohort included local startups Rush Roto and Toivoa, infra ai, Sika, and The Difference, and their demo day in August 2023 was a success.

The second cohort of the Delaware Bronze Valley Venture Lab, which aims to accelerate startups by underrepresented founders, will be run by Darren Stephenson. The five startups selected for this cohort range from AI to greentech to edtech, with two currently based in Delaware, one in Pennsylvania, and two in the process of relocating to Delaware.

The members of the accelerator cohort are expected to be ready to launch potentially multimillion-dollar funding rounds by the end of the program. The program focuses on collaboration, mentorship, and growth support, culminating in a demo day where the startups will unveil their polished pitches to the community.

The startups selected for the second cohort include Divergent Core xIntegrate, Kuaay, UNISCRAP, Words Liive, and Zoombeeto. These startups cover a range of industries from building management systems to digital retail platforms to environmental public benefit corporations and edtech apps.
